- The test downloads and uploads data between your browser and our servers, measuring how much data moves per second to calculate your download and upload speed in Mbps. It also sends small timing packets to measure ping (latency) and jitter. Everything runs in your browser — no app or sign-up required.
- What is a good internet speed?
- For general browsing and HD streaming, 25 Mbps download is usually enough. For 4K streaming, video calls, and multiple devices, 100 Mbps or more is comfortable. Online gaming benefits most from low ping (under 50 ms) and low jitter rather than raw speed.
- What do download speed, upload speed, and ping mean?

- Why is my speed test result lower than my plan?
- Wi-Fi distance and interference, other devices using the network, VPNs, browser overhead, and peak-hour congestion can all reduce measured speed. For the most accurate result, test on a wired connection, close other apps, and run the test a few times.
